Those who have visited any of the Great Plains Conservation camps across Botswana, Kenya and Zimbabwe have likely seen Founder Beverly Joubert’s photography on the walls. Now Joubert and her husband Dereck Joubert, also a Founder and Chairman of Great Plains Conservation, have announced that for the month of November, a 10% discount off all her fine art prints is applied, with 50% of all proceeds going directly to Project Ranger.
Project Ranger is an emergency fund supporting those on the frontlines of conservation by supplementing budget deficits of local ground partners, funding salaries and providing operational support for wildlife monitors, rangers and anti-poaching personnel.
While last year’s Art for Conservation effort applied to a limited selection, this year it includes all artwork available on the website.
“Rangers are still on furlough, poaching increasing significantly in the Southern African region,” explains Joubert, calling on supporters to “dig deeper to help rangers and frontline conservationists”.
