Kenya Airways has put the June launch of its Milan and Rome flights on hold.
“The postponement is in light of reduced passenger demand as a result of slower than expected recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. We continue to serve Italy through our European destinations, London, Paris and Amsterdam, connecting to our SkyTeam partner airlines, ITA (Italia Trasporto Aereo) and Air France KLM,” the airline said in statement.
The flights to Italy were planned for Wednesdays and Sundays, using a Boeing 787 Dreamliner on the route.
The airline has not said when the decision will be reviewed.
