ANEW Hotels & Resorts announced at Africa’s Travel Indaba 2022 yesterday (Wednesday, May 4) that it will officially open the ANEW Resort Vulintaba – situated on the foothills of the Drakensberg in Newcastle, KwaZulu Natal – on June 1.
ANEW CEO, Clinton Armour, told Tourism Update, this was the 12th property that it has opened since the pandemic in March 2020. It is the 15th in total.
“This proves our vision and commitment to growing the brand,” said Armour, noting that the group had had a very successful Indaba, with lots of interest from buyers.
Sales and Marketing Director for ANEW, Alan Campbell, said the Vulintaba resort was located on a lifestyle estate which includes a spa and a golf course.
The 69-room property offers a wedding chapel and four conference facilities which can accommodate up to 500 people.
Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy mountain biking and trail running on the property as well.
