Mauritian–born Ramesh Jeenarain joined World Leisure Holidays in Johannesburg in 2011. He was appointed the MD of the business in 2016, and is now responsible for driving the strategic decisions for the business. He is guided by core principles including strategic alignment, leadership, innovation and customers. His background in finance, combined with his MBA qualification, plus extensive knowledge of the travel industry, means he is well equipped to navigate this highly competitive industry. He was accredited by the SA Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) in 2007, completed his MBA at the Gordon Institute of Business Science in 2016. He manages ±50 dedicated best-of-breed employees and travel offices across South Africa (Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban).
