Description:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including revenue, sales volume, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs. Identify areas for improvement based onthe analysis and implement corrective actions to enhance sales effectiveness.
- Build, lead, and motivate the sales and reservations team to achieve individual and team goals by providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high productivity andengagement in the reservations team efficiently process safari enquiries to convert to sales, and implement the operations of the safari bookings.
- Develop, nurture, and manage key supply chain accounts and build long-term and systematic trade relations for the business
- Set clear sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team, aligning them with overall business objectives. Continuously monitoring the team’s progress against targets and KPIs, through periodic performance reviews in line with the company’s performance management cycle to ensure set targets are achieved
- Engage in business development activities to identify new market segments and expand the customer base.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities that inform management of commercial expansion and business development opportunities.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to penetrate new markets and drive revenue growth.
- Manage the CRM software and sales performance metrics, assisting the team in submitting regular reports covering sales activities, performance, and plans through the CRM system.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Present sales, revenue, expense reports, and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Develop pricing strategies and oversee discount and promotional policies to drive sales.
- Maintain relationships with key suppliers
- Develop and manage competitive advantage for tech-led sales and sales conversion tools.
- Provide Cover for the Marketing Manager when required.
- Attend, and organize when required any sales event/tradeshow.
- Work with the Market Reps in all aspects of sales and accounts development
