African Bush Camps is offering a new seasonal camp in the Nxai Pan National Park, part of the Kalahari ecosystem in Botswana.
Migration Expeditions will be open from December to March each year. The camp will be made up of six canvas guest tents set on low decks with bucket showers, and have two main tents with lounge and dining areas. Activities will include morning and afternoon game drives, day trips to Baines’ Baobabs, birding and photography.
Nxai Pan is known for its Kalahari lions, herds of large bull elephants and, in the summer, Botswana’s zebra migration, which comes down from the Chobe area. The area is also a good spot for seeing cheetah, jackal, spotted hyena and over 200 bird species.
