A traditional tented camp, Kala Camp, is set to open in Okavango Delta on June 1.

The 12 bed camp is the latest addition to the Setari Camp Collection and offers  six tents located in a private concession overlooking vast floodplains and a palm forest, north west of the Moremi Game Reserve. All tents have a small private deck.

Facilities at the camp include a central swimming pool and a shared main area. The camp can be accessed either by a mokoro (dugout canoe) or motor boat depending on the season.

Activities at the camp includes full day walking and mokoro trips into the Delta as well as morning mokoro trips and afternoon boat activities. The boating activities will be seasonal depending on the water levels.

The camp will be open throughout the year and welcomes children from 12 years.
