BON Hotels has extended its South African footprint into KwaZulu-Natal, with the takeover of 64 on Gordon Hotel, situated in the suburb of Morningside, Durban.
The 35-roomed boutique hotel will officially be flying the BON Hotels flag as of Friday (June 1).
The hotel is a short drive from the three major sports stadiums, and ten minutes from the Durban International Convention Centre.
The full-service hotel lends itself to a lively trade from all market segments. Facilities and services include a restaurant, bar and business facilities. The hotel also offers a conference venue that can accommodate up to 30 delegates.
Guy Stehlik, CEO of BON Hotels, says that the property is a well-timed deal, adding value to the group’s offering, via the BONami loyalty programme, as well as adding a KwaZulu-Natal option for their corporate, government and leisure guests.
“Our aim is to up the ante on the already established ‘boutique style’ service the hotel offers. We will boost the already dynamic team up to our BON minimum standards and appoint a sales executive to promote the hotel to our corporate, PCO, leisure, international and government clientele,” concludes Stehlik.
