Time + Tide has opened King Lewanika Lodge, the first and only permanent lodge in Zambia’s Liuwa Plain National Park.
The lodge was conceptualised by African Parks in partnership with the Zambian Department of National Parks and Wildlife and the Barotse Royal Establishment.
The property comprises six open-front tented villas, including a stand-out two-bedroom villa. The entire lodge is able to accommodate up to 15 people. Each villa has its own deck and indoor and outdoor showers.
Activities include day and night game drives and walking tours. There is a variety of wildlife to explore together with guides, including hyena, zebra, buffalo, red lechwe and tsessebe herds, over 300 bird species, as well as lions and cheetah.
