The Flying Dutchman funicular in Cape Point will close for upgrades from August 7-20.
Visitors will still have the option of hiking to Cape Point or using shuttle services during this period.
Shuttle rates are R50 for adult return tickets, R40 for adult single tickets, R20 each for scholar and pensioner return tickets and R15 for scholar and pensioner single tickets.
The Cape Point winter special will also be suspended until August 21. The special, which ends on September 30, allows children aged 16 and under to ride free when an adult ticket is bought for R65 (€4).
