The iconic Cape Grace hotel at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town will transition into a fully branded Fairmont property by the end of 2023, officially becoming the Cape Grace by Fairmont.
The 120-room property was purchased recently by Kasada Hospitality Fund LP, an independent real estate private equity platform dedicated to hospitality in sub-Saharan Africa.
“We are noticing a real momentum in South Africa for luxury hotel brands, and we couldn’t think of a more iconic hotel than Cape Grace to establish our footprint in the country,” said Mark Willis, CEO of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.
