Update: Kenya Airways has announced it will depart Nairobi at 15h30 on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays on its direct flight to Cape Town.
Kenya Airways (KQ) has announced an additional 26 weekly frequencies between its hub at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi and destinations across Africa and Europe for the 2018 summer season, compared to the winter season schedule.
KQ will add three non-stop flights to Cape Town per week on June 6. The airline currently operates seven weekly flights to Cape Town that go via Victoria Falls and Livingstone. KQ will also add four flights to Mauritius per week from June 7.
In the months of July and August, KQ will add two night flights to Amsterdam per week as well as to flights to Paris per week. Also in August, KQ will add three flights to Accra and Freetown per week.
Other destinations that will have additional frequencies include Johannesburg, Kinshasa, Brazzaville, Maputo and Entebbe.
