The River Club at the Victoria Falls in Livingstone, Zambia, is now offering kosher options.

Two kitchens are laid out according to kosher rules with all cutlery, crockery, utensils and equipment permanently stored in the kitchens and used only for kosher catering.

Beef and lamb is imported by the lodge from Nussbaums Butchery in South Africa and Zambezi bream comes from a fish farm nearby.

Kosher dairy products are purchased locally and subject to availability. Kosher chicken, however, is not available in Zambia.

Kosher Kitchen One is an affordable option, catering for one person to groups of ten. Kosher Kitchen Two is for those who would like their food to be overseen by a Mashgiach. Expenses are higher and usually shared between members of larger groups.
