Tourism KwaZulu-Natal has put together an emotive video to remind all South Africans and the world that the people of KwaZulu Natal are resilient and resolute.
The province has conquered hard-hitting challenges in the last two years. The recent floods have taken away loved ones from families and destroyed homes, beaches, road infrastructure and tourism businesses.
However, despite all the challenges that the province has faced, Tourism KZN would like to remind all holidaymakers who were unable to visit KZN during this Easter season, that the province is a destination that embodies the spirit of Ubuntu: a term translated as “I am because we are” or “humanity towards others”.
Tourism KZN is also hard at work preparing for Africa’s Travel Indaba, which will be held at the Durban ICC from May 2-5, and will see thousands of tourism trade delegates arrive in the province to get KZN back on the global map.
