November’s arrivals, departures and travellers in transit showed an increase from October’s numbers, according to the recent report from the Department of Statistics.
A total of 470 701 travellers passed through South Africa’s ports of entry and exit – 178 632 South African residents and 292 069 foreign travellers.
Departing South African residents increased by 8.9%, and foreign traveller arrivals were up by 23%.
