An overwhelming majority of Tourism Update readers would like to see more platforms linking South Africa’s hosting of the G20 Summit in November with specific tourism opportunities.
The G20 Summit and its associated pre- and post-events will attract high-level delegations from countries around the world to South Africa – offering a potentially lucrative opportunity for the tourism industry. However, in response to our latest poll, 78% of readers said they would like to see more official platforms linking the G20 Summit to tourism opportunities. Just 12% said “No” and the remaining 10% were “Unsure”.
