The fifth Mozambique International Tourism Expo will take place from October 12-15.

The relaunched expo has been renamed FIKANI, which means ‘Welcome’.

FIKANI 2017 will be hosted at the Joaquim Chissano International Conference Centre in Maputo. It will run in tandem with the ‘Jazz & Golf Summit’, which promotes the country as a corporate travel and MICE destination.

This year’s expo is set to be the biggest yet with over 200 exhibitors from Mozambique’s 11 provinces.

Nuno Fortes, Marketing Manager for INATUR (the National Tourism Marketing Body) said: "This year we have created a space for all interested operators and agents to meet, network, make new contacts and to launch new products. We will be hosting seminars, workshops, and speed-marketing opportunities during the four-day event."
