The Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA) implemented an increase in its tariffs, which includes entry and accommodation fees, as of November 1, at its various nature reserves across the province.

Tariffs are reviewed annually, to ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of the reserves, and the marginal increase is expected to go a long way in addressing some of the infrastructure maintenance challenges.

The tariffs will continue to be charged in South African rands.
