Kusudalweni Lodge and Spa, a new five-star luxury lodge in Guernsey Nature Reserve, Hoedspruit, within the Greater Kruger National Park area, opened in December.
The lodge comprises the main lodge and four detached thatched chalets, each set at the end of walkways that link to the main lodge. The contemporary and luxuriously furnished chalets are designed to allow for a unique bushveld stay and each has its own private plunge pool.
The main lodge is spacious and is built around the dining and entertainment areas and includes a swimming pool, restaurant, curio shop, communal lounge, bar, complimentary WiFi and library.
Kusudalweni Lodge and Spa offers morning, evening and night game drives conducted by nature guides, a full-service restaurant, as well as alfresco boma barbecues.
The lodge specialises in kosher catering, spa service and also offers tailor-made packages. “We will put together a specific itinerary for all our guests and they can plan their own activities for their stay at the lodge,” said lodge owner, Maria Thornton.
