African Bush Camps is opening a new camp on the Khwai wildlife concession along the banks of the Khwai River near Moremi National Park in Botswana.
Opening in mid-2023, the luxury Khwai Tented Camp will occupy the same concession as its sister property, Khwai Leadwood. It will accommodate up to 16 guests.
With sturdy canvas walls and roof, each unit – six doubles and one family tent – will feature an en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers; a private deck; ceiling fans; luxurious bedding; and mosquito netting.
Guests will also enjoy access to a central camp pool and the main building, with a lobby and restaurant overlooking the Moremi Game Reserve.
Activities will include morning, afternoon and night-time game drives as well as walking safaris and mokoro (canoe) safaris, depending on water levels.
