Hilton Durban has appointed Executive Chef, Cleanthis Govender. He will oversee the hotel's food and beverage operations, including Rainbow Terrace restaurant, Coral Lounge, Queeni's Shebeen, banquet kitchens and in-room dining kitchen.
Govender has more than a decade of local and international experience. He was previously the Executive Chef at Coastlands Musgrave Hotel and was responsible for all food outlets, including banqueting and room service.

Pieter Bekker has been appointed Director of BON Hotels: International West Africa. Bekker has 40 years’ experience in the hotel industry, 13 of which were in West African hospitality.
Thomas Mueller, GM: Marketing and IT has resigned as a consultant from O&L Leisure, Namibia. Mueller was involved in establishing a professional Namibian Hotel Management Company and was involved in developing and opening the new Strand Hotel Swakopmund.
Atta Director for East Africa and Aviation, Julian Edmunds joined Coastal Aviation, effective November 1. Edmunds will be present at the Coastal booth at the Atta stand at WTM from November 2-5 at ExCeL London and also at ROAR 2015 on November 6 at Wembley Stadium, London.
The Mbombela Holiday Resort and Spa (formerly the Crocodile Country Inn) has new owners and management, effective August 1. The resort is about 20km west of Mbombela/Nelspruit on the banks of the Crocodile River.
