Five-star boutique hotel, restaurant and function venue, Clico Boutique Hotel in Rosebank, Johannesburg, has welcomed Jaco Wheeler as its new General Manager.

Wheeler has worked in the hospitality industry from the age of 16, starting in the kitchen, front office and reservations, then growing through the ranks to his new appointment.

After a meeting with Clico’s owner, Jeanette Schwegman, Wheeler moved from Hermanus in the Cape to Johannesburg to take up the position. He describes Clico as intimate, warm and inviting, and plans on further enhancing its strong reputation for providing luxury with the comforts of home.

“The best place to go back to is always home, where your needs are anticipated, your favourites are served, and a genuine warmth exudes from family and friends. My mission is to make sure that Clico's guests are offered genuine experiences, that deliver just that,” he concludes.
