African heat is a heat like no other, and rain is celebrated across the continent by all its inhabitants including these big cats.

Sent to us by, Onne Vegter from Wild Wings Safaris, this picture shows five male cheetahs relishing the refreshing rains in the Masai Mara.

Vegter had this to say;

“This coalition of five male cheetahs used the downpour in Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve as an opportunity to go hunting. The light was poor but when they all stopped to shake themselves off, it provided a perfect photographic opportunity. We followed them for about two hours but their hunt was not successful this time.”
