Drakensberg Experience recently shared a picture of Tugela Falls from Royal Natal National Park in KwaZulu Natal to its Facebook page, revealing an exciting new status for the 29th-most Instagrammed waterfall in the world.
“It's official!” the caption reads. “We have the highest waterfall in the world... Standing proud at 948m, Tugela Falls tops them all!”

Angel Falls in Venezuela, also known as Kerepakupai Merú, previously claimed the title of the tallest waterfall in the world. With a confirmed height of 807m, the World Waterfall Database now ranks Angel Falls as the 13th tallest in the world.
