These two stunning images of the Maasai Mara were taken by Willie van Eeden during a recent EcoTraining wildlife and safari course in the Mara.
Maasai Mara is a large national game reserve in Narok, Kenya, adjoining the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. It is one of the most famous and important wildlife conservation and wilderness areas in Africa, known for its exceptional populations of lion, leopard, cheetah and elephant.
It is also world-renowned for the annual Great Migration where up to two million wildebeest and other antelope charge across the plains towards better grazing areas as the seasons change.
