The Nairobi Serena Hotel will undergo a two-phase expansion and refurbishment programme over an 18-month period, commencing December 1.

The refurbishment will include better function and meeting rooms, including a new ballroom; a parking silo; reconfigured and upgraded guest rooms; a new floor of guest rooms; a new executive lounge and restaurant; a revamped hair salon and guest shop; improved infrastructure, security and front of house areas.

Work on the first phase – the entrance, porte cochère and reception; a refurbished northern wing with remodelled guest rooms; an additional floor of guest rooms; an executive floor and the parking silo – will be completed by September

Construction will take place from 08h00 to 17h00 on weekdays and 09h00 to 13h00 on Saturdays.
