Hideaways Africa is bringing a new, exclusive boat-cruise experience to the Zambezi River.
Katja Quasdorf, CEO of Hideaways, told Tourism Update that the company is introducing a new, romantic East African-style dhow – called the Zambezi Truth – that will take guests on a sunrise and sunset cruise along the Zambezi River. “The service will be offered to any visitors to Victoria Falls, and not only guests of Hideaways properties,” she added.
Starting in August, at $120 (€102), guests will be treated to cocktails and canapes aboard a luxurious traditional boat decked out with colorful silk cushions and lanterns. The boat accommodates 12 guests at a time, with the cruise lasting about three hours.
