Sun International has launched its new conference and events concept, SunPark, at Sun City.

SunPark gives event organisers access to a multipurpose facility with an indoor venue and outdoor space for a host of different events, including music festivals, conferences, product launches and lifestyle events.

According to Sun International, the facility has a “plug-in” system to allow the space to be transformed to meet the needs of any event, no matter the size. This includes flexible infrastructure, electricity supply and IT services.

SunParks are expected to open at Cape Town’s GrandWest in October, followed by Sibaya in KwaZulu Natal and Carnival City in Gauteng.

This new addition to Sun City is part of a R1 billion upgrade of the entire complex.
