Tintswalo Safari Lodge, which is in the Manyeleti Private Game Reserve and shares an unfenced boundary with the Kruger National Park, is running a promotion aimed specifically at photographic enthusiasts embarking on a trip to South Africa.
The package includes a fully equipped private game vehicle for photographers, with a private game ranger and wildlife tracker.
In addition, guests can rent cameras from the lodge, with the following options:
- Nikon D3s Body and Nikon 200mm – 400mm lens (F4).
- Canon 7DMKii Body and 70mm – 200mm lens (F2.8).
- Canon 70D Body and 100mm – 400mm Canon lens (F5.6).
Tintswalo Safari Lodge has an on-site Photographic Hub, where guests can print their images before they leave. The lodge also offers canvas printing, as well as photographic guides who can assist with post editing at the hub.
The promotion is running at a set fee of R12 000 (€768) per group, for up to six guests, and includes a private game vehicle and guide, who is also a wildlife photography expert, and a private tracker for the whole day. The R12 000 is over and above the normal full-board accommodation rates.
Emily Leuner, GM of Tintswalo Safari Lodge says: “The game vehicle can accommodate six guests, so it’s a great package for a group of photography enthusiasts.”
The game drive caters specifically for photographers, seeking out the best sightings and vantage points, and allowing a sitting at one sighting for a longer period than usual. “It also means that the guide can talk about photography and offer tips and guidelines, without boring other guests who are really there for a traditional safari,” adds Leuner.
According to Tintswalo Safari Lodge, no closing date for the promotion has been set.
