Amathola Mountain Escape Route
Rich in history and culture, the route is known for a variety of fauna and flora, primal indigenous forests, clear-water mountain streams and waterfalls. The route visits Mpofu Game Reserve, Cathcart, Seymore, Fort Fordyce Nature Reserve, Bedford, Dutywa, Elliotdale and Nqgamakwe.

Escape Route
Stutterheim boasts the second largest indigenous forest in South Africa, the Kologha Forest. The forest has a picturesque picnic spot and is well signposted and offers scenic walks of varying lengths and difficulty. The Esacape Route takes guests through the Stutterheim area.

This route offers game viewing, skydiving and hang-gliding, fly fishing, abseiling, river-rafting and mountaineering, all with rich heritage. The area is known as the heartland of the Eastern Cape. Free State Eagle Route
The Eagle Route runs from Fickburg to Harrismith. Some of the towns to explore are Bethlehem, Memel and Ladybrand. This route runs through the Lejweleputswa District and features Welkom, Virgina, Ventersburg, Winburg, Bothaville and Brandford. The Lejweleputswa district is an important agricultural and gold-producing area. Activities include exploring a gold-mine, game-viewing and visiting key historic sites and the Phakisa Freeway Race Track.

The route connects the Free State with the Northern Cape through the farmlands and nature reserves of the Xheriep District. This route has a wealth of cultural and historic attractions including battle sites, San rock engravings, game farms and diamond mines. Indian Hertiage Route
This route focuses on historic and Indian cultural venues in Johannesburg. Ares visited in this route include Orchards, Braamfontein, Newtown and Marshalltown.
Joburg Adventure Route
Travellers can experience adrenalin-filled experiences through Johannesburg's Kya Sands, Fourways, Magaliesburg and Soweto. These include mountain biking, paragliding, parachuting, skydiving and bungee jumping.
Joburg Art Gallery Route
This route features some of the finest art galleries in Melrose Arch, Rosebank, Parkwood, Braamfontein and Joubert Park.
Joburg Cuisine Route
The route takes visitors through the north and south of Johannesburg and focuses on South African cuisine. Areas on this route include Greenside, the Zoo Lake and Kibler Park.
Joburg Market Route
The route explores organic food markets and craft stalls. The markets are in Bryanston, Parktown North, Melrose Arch, Braamfontein, Newtown and the Johannesburg CBD.
Joburg Nature Route
This route offers sights of wildlife in Johannesburg. Areas included in the route are Roodepoort, Emmarentia, Melville and Parkview.
A pristine paradise
A scenic tour that is popular among families. Activities include putt putt, visiting the butterfly domes or horse riding on the beach. The areas include Mzamba Beach, Port Edward, Mpenjati Nature Reserve.
A perfect piece of paradise

Margate is the historical holiday centre for the South Coast. It is vibrant and renowned for its exciting night life, action packed beach festivals and Africa Bike Week – the largest event of its type in Africa. A legendary beach, within walking distance of Margate’s bustling CBD and its restaurants, cafes, galleries and rocking night clubs.
Paradise unexplored
The beautiful stretch of coastline is filled with unique treasures. Bazley, Ifafa, Elysium and Mtwalume. The beaches are clean and quiet – perfect for long strolls. Mtwalume has a ski-boat launch and is well known for its excellent rock fishing. A little further south you will reach Hibberdene and Umzumbe – both stunning Blue Flag beaches. As you travel south through leafy Umtentweni towards the bustling commercial centre of Port Shepstone, the coast becomes visibly more developed with shops and great restaurants.
Paradise unexpected
With four amazing beaches, Oslo, Shelly Beach, St Michaels and Uvongo, the Skyline Nature Reserve and a very popular Park-Run, as well as the Ugu Sports & Leisure Centre, this route is the place to get active! The world famous Protea Banks offers exceptionally exciting shark diving.
Paradise on pause
South of Ramsgate you will find Southbroom, Umkobi Beach, Marina Beach and San Lameer. Southbroom is set in a cool and sub-tropical jungle alongside a deep lagoon. The beach is protected by a rocky point and offers great swimming and surfing conditions. Marina Beach is yet another jewel in the South Coast’s crown with a beautiful Blue Flag beach and tidal pool.
Where paradise begins
A journey along KwaZulu-Natal’s Southern coastline begins just outside of Durban. The scenic coastal drive takes visitors through villages such as Illovo, Umkomaas, Scottburgh, Rocky Bay and Pennington, all offering popular beach resorts and loads of holiday entertainment for the whole family. Also highly popular area for the fishermen and surfers and home to Aliwal Shoal, one of the top ten shark dive sites in the world and boasting four golf courses on this route.

This route is approximately 12km from Port Shepstone the Umzimkulwana River has etched a spectacular gorge into the mountains to create a rugged, natural landscape of breathtaking beauty.
