Wilderness Safaris’ Toka Leya Camp in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, Zambia, has reopened following the completion of refurbishments.
The 12 raised en-suite safari-style tents now have romantic outdoor baths and the decks have been modified to include an expansive drop-down sitting area.
The upgraded wellness area now includes a separate spa treatment room with an outdoor deck overlooking the Zambezi River, where guests can participate in Pilates or yoga. A new air-conditioned fitness room has also been added, offering weights, an exercise bike and a treadmill.
“We decided to reinvest in the guest experience at this camp to ensure that Toka Leya remains the best safari-style camp in the area. By enhancing our spa and gym, the camp is equally as appealing as a stand-alone destination where guests can choose from a myriad of activities, or a sanctuary where they can simply relax and enjoy the spectacular surrounds for a few days before or after a safari,” said Ron Goatley, MD of Wilderness Safaris Zambezi Region.
