Joleen du Plessis holds a master’s degree in Adult Education with a thesis topic of ‘Language Learning in the Tourism Industry’. She holds a certificate in Marketing Management [distinction] and a certificate in Project Management and attended a Tour Operators programme offered by Department of Economic Development And Tourism.
Her tourism career started as manager of a local tourism bureau, continued as CEO of the MTN Whale Route and currently she is CEO of a registered tourism and hospitality training provider with CATHSSETA, a registered assessor with SAQA and a registered national tourist guide.
