Angama Mara safari lodge on Kenya’s Great Rift Valley Escarpment will welcome its first guests on June 14.
The lodge took 11 months to build and consists of 30 tented suites, split between two separate camps. At the Pavilion, between the two camps, is a fitness centre, a 12,5m swimming pool, a gallery of African craft and art, clothing and jewellery.
Angama Mara has access to the Mara Triangle, part of the Maasai Mara, where guests can enjoy game viewing all year round. Wildlife can also be seen directly from the lodge and each tent is equipped with binoculars.
