Classic Portfolio has partnered with Safari Air to launch a seasonal flight linking the Mozambique towns of Beira (BEW) and Vilanculos (VNX). Starting on June 2, the new twice-weekly flight offers opportunities for bush and beach connections between Gorongosa National Park and the Bazaruto Archipelago.
The new connection will be operated by Safari Air’s GA8 Airvan or Cessna 206 aircraft. Services will run during the April-November period on Mondays and Wednesdays.
The flight schedule is as follows:
- BEW 10h30-VNX 11h45 (ideal for connecting travellers from Gorongosa)
- VNX 12h15-BEW 13h30 (timed for Ethiopian Airlines departures and onward Gorongosa flights)
Classic Portfolio represents independently owned lodges and camps across Southern and East Africa, including Azura Marlin Beach and Azura Benguerra Island as well as the lodge and two camps under the Gorongosa Safaris brand in Gorongosa National Park.
