Camp Zebra and Intimate Camps in the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania will undergo extensive refurbishments ahead of the local game migration seasons.
Camp Zebra, which has been designed to be mobile so that it can follow the wildebeest and zebra herds, will be closed between April 10 and June 10, while the renovations take place. Camp Zebra follows the game migrations to the northern part of the park from June to November, and to the southern part from December until March.
Intimate Camps, which operates three separate private and exclusive luxury mobile camps, will orientate its refurbishments around existing bookings, ensuring no disruption to guests. The private camps can be set up almost anywhere along the Tanzania Northern Safari circuit, and include Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Serengeti National Park.
