Nelson Kibicho, Consultant at Revonnate, a revenue management company for the hospitality industry, says: “The unique feature at Zereniti House is that we purposely do not have any televisions in the elegant rooms, allowing guests to digitally detox.” However, he says the property is equipped with WiFi.
Zereniti House boasts seven units: Zereniti, the largest corner room; Kachele, which features a balcony, country fireplace and sliding glass doors on to the garden balcony; Amarula, ideal for families as it has a separate living area fitted with a day bed and garden views from the balcony; Acacia is also an ideal option for families featuring two twin beds, a sofa bed by the fireplace and a balcony; Meskele, a corner room with a private balcony; Moringa, a homely corner room with a garden view; and Baobab, providing guests with complete privacy.
The units feature well-appointed interiors, each individually designed with a modern touch.
Dining is intimate, with comfortable outdoor and indoor dining areas serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Activities include bird watching, educational tours such as visits to neighbouring tea farms, agricultural tours that visit nearby dairy farms, nature bike rides, and picnics.
Zereniti House can host meetings and events in its Business Centre, with a theatre that can accommodate 30 delegates, a classroom holding 30, a U-shaped room for up to 24 delegates, and a boardroom that can accommodate up to six people.
The Business Centre is fully equipped with WiFi, flip charts, stationery, water and confections, projectors, a dedicated meeting manager, personalised service and expansive event grounds.
