KZN Tourism’s DO KZN campaign offers the latest travel ideas around the province, which is filled with beaches, romantic getaways, luxury experiences, safari escapes, heritage tours, artisan culture and adventure tours.

DO Beach
uShaka Marine World, on Durban’s Golden Mile, brings together culture, entertainment and fun and boasts the largest aquarium in the Southern hemisphere with underground viewing galleries.
DO Safari
Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve: The oldest proclaimed natural park in Africa. It consists of 96 000 hectares and is 280km north of Durban in central Zululand. It is known for its wildlife and conservation efforts and is the only state-run park in KwaZulu-Natal where the Big Five occur.
Isimangaliso Wetland Park experience: Visitors can take a boat cruise on Lake St Lucia within the Isimangaliso Wetland Park, a World Heritage Site, where close encounters with hippo and crocodiles are the main attraction of the tour. Knowledgeable guides provide commentary on the workings of Africa's largest estuarine system. A wide variety of birdlife, including Fish eagles, kingfishers and Goliath heron are normally spotted on the tour.
DO Adventure
Sani Pass Tour: The Sani Pass is a spectacular mountain road and the only vehicle route over the Drakensberg escarpment into the mountain Kingdom of Lesotho. It is the gateway to the 'Roof of Africa' scenic route that links the spectacular scenery of the Drakensberg with the mountains of northern Lesotho. In Mokhotlong village, visitors get a feel of the unique way of life of the Basotho people.
Lake Eland: This is the longest zip line tour in Africa, with 14 zip lines starting at the top of the Gorge. The most memorable zip line is number six which soars over the 300-metre-high gorge. The views from that height are breathtaking and you are left feeling exhilarated when you reach platform seven.
