Lawrence Brown wrote to Tourism Update in response to Tom Nolle’s comment last week, where he highlighted the high costs and lack of collaboration between neighbouring countries for the cross-border testing.
I completely agree with the author of the editorial about onerous COVID tests for tourists at border crossings. We have delayed, again, our coming May five-week vacation that would take us through five countries, each of which would test us.
We both have received the two-dose Moderna vaccine, but that wouldn’t count if one of us received a false positive test result. Two-week quarantine! So we’ll wait yet another year (or simply try somewhere else).
