Semonkong Lodge recently Tweeted several videos of Lesotho’s first snowfall of the year, which has covered their entire lodge and the nearby Maletsunyane Falls.
“We’ve woken up to monochromatic scenes this morning and the gentle sounds of soft snow falling,” Semonkong Lodge tweeted.
In Lesotho’s summer months, highs can reach 28,3°C. Lows in winter can dip to 2,5°C and -1,4°C in the mountains.
This makes Lesotho an ideal destination for skiers and snowboarders in southern Africa.
