Accessible travel concierge service, Able2Travel, has received a lot of support from South African partners to join them at the AccessAbilities Expo in Dubai from October 9-11, but has now called on other African regions to do the same.
Able2Travel is actively seeking partners to exhibit with it at the expo and invites hotels, tourist attractions, and other travel-related businesses to showcase their accessible facilities and services alongside them.
“We have seen amazing support from our trusted supporters such as The Diamond Works Institute who supported the campaign to go over to the AccessAbilities Expo last year. We are also excited about new partners such as Southern Africa 360 Luxury Tours who will be our travel fulfilment partner.
Aimee Lentz, Marketing Manager from The Diamond Works Institute says that Able2Travel has been a phenomenal partner. “Their expertise and understanding of the needs of people of determination has helped us to adapt and amplify the products that we offer, taking our offering to the next level in order to be more inclusive.”
Tarryn Tomlinson, founder of LiveABLE Access Consultants and Able2Travel, told Tourism Update: “We need a lot more support, particularly in the other regions around South Africa. We want to showcase as much of SA as possible and to do that, we need our partners from other regions to come on board to market the accessible destinations in their region.”
It will be the fifth edition of the expo and is one of the most significant events in Dubai that cater for the needs of people with disabilities.
There will be 300 exhibitors from more than 50 countries and more than 12 000 visitors to the expo.
