Namibia Wildlife Resorts has issued a notice to travellers en route to Hobas from Keetmanshoop, advising them to use the C12 road via Grünau instead of the direct route across the Holoog River.

The advisory is due to strong water flow prohibiting access for standard vehicles. Only 4x4 vehicles are recommended for those considering the Holoog River route.

Travellers are encouraged to plan accordingly and take the alternative route until conditions improve.
