Legacy Hotels & Resorts’ The Centurion Hotel has released a video of its mural that depicts South African sports legends as part of an incredible gesture towards South African sports and the people who enjoy celebrating the country’s sporting success.
The mural, stretching approximately 30 metres around the hotel, depicts some of the country’s most renowned sports stars, across sporting codes including rugby, cricket, soccer, athletics, swimming and boxing.
Bart Dorrestein, Legacy Group Chairman, said: “Sport is a force that brings everyone together. So we decided to do a mural that celebrates South African sportsmen. I think all South Africans, particularly our youth, are inspired by sportsmen who have done amazing things for the country.”
Dorrestein also revealed that the hotel would be building a huge television screen on its deck where people can come and enjoy watching sport together.
