Regent Select Hotel in Gaborone, Botswana, has commenced a refurbishment and expansion project that will see seven rooms added to the 30-roomed property.

The project is expected to be completed in August next year. The expansion will also see a new gym, and restaurant overlooking the pool added to the property.

GM Jimmy Borchard says the revamp comes after clients requested additional facilities.

“We also wanted to improve on our food service delivery. When we opened this hotel it was only meant to be a bed & breakfast, but due to demand, we started catering lunch and dinner. We are doing this quite well in the small space that we have, but we want to be able to increase our offerings to our guests. We will have bigger better menus and a new restaurant overlooking the pool,” he said.
