The Protea Hotel by Marriott Durban uMhlanga completed a massive expansion project recently with the addition of a new 15-storey tower.

The expansion project saw the creation of a new reception area, lobby, restaurant, lounge and bar. The group has more than doubled its accommodation with the addition of 130 new bedrooms, bringing the total number to 250 bedrooms.

The hotel believes the renovations will suit both corporate and leisure travellers.
