The Hilton Garden Inn Hotel Mbabane and Hilton Garden Inn Hotel Gaborone, which were scheduled to open in 2017, are now expected to open toward the end of this year.

Maya Chacko, Communications Executive (Europe, Middle East and Africa), told Tourism Update that Mbabane Hilton Garden Inn would open in the fourth quarter.

Asked about the reason for the delay, Chacko said changes to the expected opening date were not unusual.

The 130-room Mbabane Hilton Garden Inn is in the centre of Mbabane, the administrative capital and largest city in eSwatini (formerly Swaziland) and the 150-room Gaborone Hilton Garden Inn is in the Gaborone CBD.
