Ethiopian Airlines has announced the launch of a new passenger service to Hyderabad, India, beginning on June 16. The thrice-weekly flights will strengthen the airline’s connectivity between Africa and Asia.
The new route will operate according to the following schedule:
- ET 682: Addis Ababa to Hyderabad (Monday, Wednesday and Saturday)
- ET 683: Hyderabad to Addis Ababa (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday)
Ethiopian Airlines Group Chief Executive Officer Mesfin Tasew said: “We are delighted to commence a new passenger service to Hyderabad. Since our first flight to Mumbai in 1971, we have expanded our footprint across India. This new service will not only enhance travel options for passengers but also strengthen trade and tourism ties between the two regions and beyond.”
Ethiopian Airlines currently operates over 50 weekly flights to five Indian cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad and Chennai.
