Hospitality association, FEDHASA, in partnership with Nedbank, will bring together energy experts, economists and alternative energy suppliers to provide guidance on how to source practical solutions for hospitality businesses during a summit on Monday (June 26).
FEDHASA Western Cape had already held a ‘Talking Energy with FEDHASA’ Summit in March, to help tackle the energy crisis in the province.
The association had promised more such energy summits throughout the country.
This is a free event and will take place at Nedbank’s head office – 135 Rivonia Road, Sandton – at 09h00.
Other than how to secure the right funding for hospitality businesses’ needs, the panel discussion and sessions will also cover (among other topics):
- Optimal energy efficiencies in hospitality businesses.
- The A to Z of alternative energy solutions.
- Hospitality business case studies.
- Insights from economists.
- Green Tourism Incentive Programme.
Some of the speakers and panellists already lined up include:
- Liandra da Silva, Specialised Economist: Nedbank Group Economic Unit.
- Craig Sauls, Programme Manager at Industrial Development Corporation (IDC).
- Marshall Fourie, Utility Management Specialist, Energy Resource Optimiser.
- Henning Holm, Energy Specialist, Holms and Friends.
