Zimbabwe’s second largest national park, Gonarezhou, has temporarily closed. The closure, until the end of February, allows for essential maintenance of the park’s tourism infrastructure and enables camp attendants to spend time with their families.

During this period, the park’s infrastructure team will carry out repairs and improvements to the camps, ensuring facilities are in optimal condition for visitors when the park reopens. The timing coincides with the rainy season when roads may be less accessible and temperatures are high.
