Radisson Hotel Group recorded a milestone year in 2024, adding almost 40 000 keys across its global portfolio and expanding its presence in key markets. The group strengthened its position as a leader in the upper-upscale and upscale resort segments in Europe, the Middle East and Africa while continuing its growth strategy across Asia-Pacific countries and North America.
Elie Younes, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Development Officer, highlighted the group’s resilience despite global challenges. “In 2025, we will continue creating more possibilities and opportunities for all our stakeholders by building on existing segments and partnerships as well as seeking new business avenues. Key expansion highlights include:
- The Radisson Collection grew to nearly 70 hotels with flagship openings in Rome and Srinagar and signings in Paris, Madrid and Riyadh.
- Radisson Blu added over 20 properties including new locations in Casablanca (Morocco) and Conakry (Guinea), marking significant expansion in West Africa.
- Radisson RED entered new markets such as Danang, Berlin, Auckland, Vientiane and Abuja with the brand’s debut in Ireland (Galway) and Thailand (Patong Beach in Phuket).
- Radisson Individuals, one of the fastest-growing brands in the Asia-Pacific region, added 15 new hotels, including openings in India (Udaipur and South Delhi), Oman, Sardinia and the UK.
- Rebranded mid-scale lifestyle brand Prize by Radisson launched new hotels in Gdańsk (Poland) and Berlin (Germany).
- New luxury resort additions included a Mauritius beachfront property expanding the group’s presence on the island.
Radisson Hotel Group now operates over 150 properties in the upscale resort segment, securing its leadership position. Looking ahead to 2025, the group plans to expand further into strategic geographies, reinforcing its global footprint and development pipeline.
