As of midnight on November 30, Hyatt Regency Oubaai Golf Resort & Spa will no longer be operated as a Hyatt hotel, the company has announced.
The property is owned by Kharafi Hospitality and was managed by Hyatt International. Kharafi Hospitality is the hospitality arm of Kuwaiti conglomerate MA Kharafi Group.
“We have sincerely enjoyed flying the Hyatt flag in George for the past five years,” said Peter Fulton, Group President of EAME/South West Asia for Hyatt. “We thank the customers of Hyatt Regency Oubaai for their loyalty and the hotel’s employees for their support and dedication over the past years.”
Hyatt extended its best wishes to the hotel’s employees and Kharafi Hospitality for success in the future.
